Casting Two New Roles

Looks like there is at least two more new roles currently being casted for 'Heroes'.
Ausiello at TV Guide has the info:

Ausiello: Two new recurring roles are being cast, both of which are slated to debut in the Season 3 premiere. "Joy" is in her early twenties and described as "quick on her feet — and adept at getting herself into and out of trouble." Senator Robert Malden, meanwhile, is in his fifties and a political straight shooter.

Return Date, Webisodes & New Narrator?

Official Heroes Return Date Announced!

Heroes will return to NBC on September 15, kicking off with a Heroes clip show followed by a massive two-hour Heroes premiere!

"NBC is planning to air original webisodes of Chuck, The Office, and Heroes on the Internet. According to Variety, more NBC shows will then soon follow suite starting with 30 Rock."

Jeph: There will be announcements about "Villians" in the next few weeks. All I can say is that the next season will blow your mind!

Do you feel Peter at some point will mentor other ‘Specials’?
Milo: I feel he could definitely end up doing that but right now he’s saved the world–TWICE! And he is still dealing with controlling all the powers he’s absorbed. This may confuse him and lead him… Milo was implying Peter may go down a dark path before returning to the the light. Whether he may join with Sylar or Adam or neither.

Sylar News: He should be in the first episode of “Villians” and as long as Zach remains uncommitted, there will be much more of Sylar this season.

Adrian Pasdar at MegaCon

Adrian Pasdar was at the MegaCon over the weekend to answer questions and sign autographs for fans. He also talked about Season 2 and what may be ahead for Volume 3 "Villains". What did he say?

"He... was amazing. The whole crowd fell in love with him, essentially. He was laughy, and chatty, and TOTALLY SPOILERY, YOU GUYS. When he first sat down and was like "Hey!" this group of about four guys jumped up, pointed there fingers and yelled "FLYING MAN!!!!" We all started laughing, and while Adrian looked a little startled at first, he then laughed too. Haha! It was hilarious and really broke the ice, so to say....."

Eriko Tamura (Yaeko) Talks About Volume 3

Will Hiro's love, Princess Yaeko return to Heroes next season read and find out just what the actress says.

While Yaeko's stories may have all taken place in feudal Japan, that may not be the case for Season three, coming this fall. Thursday evening, CBR News spoke with actress Eriko Tamura Thursday evening, who plays Yaeko, who said she's eager to get back to shooting "Heroes."

"I really enjoyed working on that show, it’s a great show and I am going back for the third season," Tamura told CBR News. "As soon as I’m back in LA [I'll begin shooting], but I can’t talk about it."

CS/SHH!: Do you have any idea what's in store for Peter?
Ventimiglia: Yes, I do.

CS/SHH!: I know you can't tell us, but it must be nice to know something, but sometimes you don't.
Ventimiglia: I think we've always had an idea. I know I try to sit down with Tim [Kring] and all the guys who are in charge and understand where they're going so that I can mentally and physically prepare myself for that. If I'm not prepared then it's just going to be sh*t work. They're always wanting to help the actors with whatever we need to get ourselves in the right mind space so that we can perform and do the best job that we can, so yeah, I know a little bit of what Peter has coming....

Irish Actors, didn’t sound Irish enough!

At the end of last season, Adrian Pasdar's character Nathan Petrelli looked like he may of been killed off. If he had any chances of surviving - this may of ended it:

Recently actor Adrian Pasdar revealed that it was a decision by Heroes staff to hire non-Irish actors because "...the Irish actors who auditioned for the roles didn’t sound Irish enough."

Heroes Renewed for 2008-09 Seasons

Writers Strike Over!

The writers strike is over!!

After a long three months. There has been negotiating, and and the WGA members have voted to end the strike.

So this all sounds like great news, so what does this mean for shows like Heroes? Well that's less than great news.

Since Heroes' don't produce episodes as fast as other dramas or comedies, and Season 2 would of come to an end in May anyway, Tim Kring says they could only produce 3 episodes. Kring's opinion is: ”With a show like Heroes that’s so strongly serialized, and given what we wanted to accomplish with the new storyline, to come back with just three episodes could be creatively dangerous.”

Sources say that 'Heroes', will not go back into production until as late as June. So new episodes will not be seen until the new TV fall season.

Hayden To Star In "I Love You, Beth Cooper"

When you hear the name Hayden Panettiere, you think, "cheerleader", and that's exactly what Hayden is “in negotiations” to be playing, in the romantic-comedy-teen movie, "I Love You, Beth." Based on the novel by Larry Doyle, "Beth Cooper".

Hayden has been cast as Beth, "the school's hottest cheerleader" who shows nerdy Denis Cooverman, the best night of his life after he proclaims his love for her during his graduation speech.

"I Love You, Beth Cooper" is in talks to be directed by: Chris Columbus (Rent, Harry Potter and the Chamber of Secrets). And hoping to start filming in spring.

Hayden can also be seen in, "Fireflies in the Garden", staring Julia Roberts and Ryan Reynolds later this year.

Heroes Action Figures!

Ever since Heroes began, who hasn't wanted there own Peter, Hiro or Claire action figure to play with... I mean - um - collect? Well now you can! Mezco Toyz has revealed there first line of Heroes action figures.

In the first line is: Sylar, Peter, Hiro, Claire and Mohinder. Although it's great to see these figures, I don't believe they've captured their image very well, but I guess it's better than nothing.

There is no official release date as of yet. We'll keep you posted.

Benjamin "Knox" Washington

Another new actor in 'Volume 3: Villains' has been identified, Jamie Hector who was seen in a preview shown at the Jules Verne Film Festival, plays character, Benjamin "Knox" Washington.

Jamie isn't giving out any details on his role, but his character has been described as a bad guy who returns to his native city of New Orleans, "the criminal territory he used to run before he was sent to prison."

Jamie Hector is best known for his role, "Marlo Stanfield" on The Wire.

Sophie, a Mysterious Woman with Powers

A new member for the Heroes cast in Volume 3, "Villains", has been released.

Sophie, played by Jessica Collins, is to play "a mysterious woman with powers, who works at the organization that is tracking all heroes... She's the employee of a powerful, mysterious group, and she's not afraid to use lethal force to accomplish her mission." She also speaks French.

Jessica has been seen before on Ghost Whisperer, a part on Law & Order: Criminal Intent, CSI: Crime Scene Investigation and The Nine.

Heroes Magazine: Issue 2

With not much to do while Heroes' writers are on strike, at least we can get our Heroes fix from online media like, games, Heroes-360, graphic novels, and the official magazine from Titan publishing.

Issue 2 of the official Heroes magazine will bring you all the developments from the world of Heroes, including the latest update on how the well-publicised writers' strike is affecting season two, and also the situation with the much-anticipated spin-off Heroes: Origins. Plus, Linderman’s first name revealed.

Hayden & Milo Dating!

Well if you haven't already heard about it, where have you been? It's all over the web, Heroes co-stars, Milo Ventimiglia (Peter) and Hayden Panettiere (Claire) are officially dating according to... well a lot of web-sites.

Apparently it was Milo who revealed the relationship at a during a Christmas party in Los Angeles, saying during a toast "he loved her".


It seems that Milo is fitting in with the Panettiere family,
He has meet the whole family, even the grandparents and Hayden’s mom just adores Milo.
