Heroes: The Game

It's older news, but still somrthing to look forward to:
Comfirmed by creator Tim Kring himself, Ubisoft are making a game based on the popular NBC series.
"We're very excited to be making the Heroes video game with Ubisoft," Tim Kring told The Hollywood Reporter.
The game won't follow a specific characters' journey but will focus on the shows main cast. The game is being made under close supervision from the shows team, but it won't be a clone of the show, Instead they will provide a standalone story, to hopefully give it a longer lasting shelf-life.
The Heroes game is expected to be avalible in late 2008 for PC, X-box 360 and Play Station 3.

Also there to show support and walk with her writers was Kristen Bell, who plays the villainous and troubled Elle on the series.
Bell may have only joined the series a few months ago, but she clearly has made a strong and highly positive impression on her colleagues, as Heroes creator/executive producer/writer Tim Kring and co-executive producer/writer Jeph Loeb greeted her warmly before they walked the picket line together with the fans. Loeb even joked that later that afternoon, he and Bell were going to get married.

What was Changed in Volume 2?
The ODI blog has a "very reliable source", that has provided some information on what was changed during the making of 'Volume 2: Generations', and some info on what is planned for 'Volume 3: Villains'. Here are the things that were changed: 1) Kristen Bell was originally suppose to be in 8 episodes and then killed off but due to fan support they are keeping her around for a bit longer
2) Elle was setup as a Bob's step daughter and the daughter of Meredith which in turn would have been Claire's SISTER but they dropped it due to lack of storyline and plot holes.
3) Stephen Tobolowsky (BOB) also had a slightly different story, he was supposed to be more evil then he is now and even recruited his SON WEST to make Claire turn against her father this was dropped early in Volume 2 for "various reasons".
Now the possible spoilers for Volume 3, so if you don't want to know -
stop reading now!: 1) Ali Larter will return to the show (as Kristin at E!Online has already reported) but are planning to wrap up her storyline up in Volume 3.
2) Micah's storyline will end also
3) David Anders (Adam) will return and will meet a new friend
4) Adrian Pasdar (Nathan) well thats it up to the fans and he "might be back so don't worry."
5) Zachary Quinto (Sylar) will be more bad ass then ever and when we come back he will kill a star on the show
6) Villains is the start of something bigger for Heroes and hopefully it will be more fast pace then Generations (Volume 2).
Very interesting information... I guess fans of Nathan, if you want him to survive, get your voice heard now. To read the full article visit The ODI.
Adrian's Reply To Fans

Adrian Pasdar (Nathan), has made a comment to fans on his YouTube account saying:"I wish I could share with you all the future for Nathan... But, as you all well know, mum IS the word. Who could possibly have shot me?? The REAL answer to that question is very, very interesting. I promise."

E! Kristin's: Who's Dead and Who's Not
Three Heroes Have Fallen—Who Will Rise? We all know Claire's blood can save the world and pretty much everyone in it, so who'll get the hot cheerleader injection (wait, that sounded dirty) and come back to the show? Based on what I'm hearing from inside sources, here's where I'd put my money...
Ali Larter: According to Heroes insiders, Niki is not expected to return to the show. But her devilish alter ego, Jessica? Oh yeah, we'll see her as soon as the show comes back to the beloved airwaves—when the strike is through! At least, that's the plan according to sources who tell me producers had "done all they could do" with Niki. Micah is not gonna be happy. But at least he'll have Monica...
David Anders: I'd bet my beloved, signed Hiro poster that Hiro's sworn nemesis will return. (I've seen that '90s flick The Vanishing and know people can be dug up after being buried alive! Maybe we can even get Kiefer Sutherland to do the digging!) Sources tell me it's not set in stone, but the tentative plan is for Adam Monroe to be back to torment our favorite squinty teleporter—i.e., the "carp." Here's hoping he does.
Adrian Pasdar: I've heard the production and writing staff is somewhat split as to whether Nathan should return to the show. Allow me to be the first to say WTF? Heroes without the brothers would be like Prison Break or Brothers & Sisters without the brothers: a waste of time! Surely Claire's blood can save her own father, right?! Let's say a little prayer for the older Petrelli, shall we?

Tim Kring Explains Heroes' "Generations" Finale
Tim Kring's exclusive interview with TV GuideThe fate of Nathan, who was shot during a TV press conference, and of Niki, who may have died in an abandoned building explosion, are "up in the air and will be determined when we come back after the strike," Kring says. "Things are fairly dire for them both." Immortal Adam was teleported by Hiro (Masi Oka) into a coffin buried in the same Japanese cemetery where his father Kaito (George Takei), who was slain by Adam, is also buried. "It's poetic justice to have Adam end up in the same graveyard as Kaito," Kring notes. "We've given the audience no reason to believe that Adam can figure a way to get out of there. The fact that he can live forever makes this the most gruesome of internments. If this happened to any of us, at least we'd know we'd soon have the mercy of death. Not here."
Witchy, bitchy Elle, who wound up saving the lives of Mohinder (Sendhil Ramamurthy), Maya (Dania Ramirez) and little Molly (Adair Tishler), clearly sparked when Mohinder called her a hero. "Kristen Bell gave us the perfect reaction in that scene," Kring says. "For a moment there, Elle sees she's been given an opportunity to use her powers in a good way. And she absolutely likes the sound of that word 'hero.'" Not to worry. There are plenty more baddies coming after the writers' strike concludes. In fact, the title of Volume 3 — "Villains" — says it all.
"We've introduced a cadre of them over the course of the show and we're going to see them rise up," Kring says. "Just as the heroes have found each other to save the world, the villains will do the same with the opposite intent." And their numbers may be legion. "The Company has catalogued many of these people over the years. There may be more of them down in that basement than we have alluded to so far."
Will Sylar (Zachary Quinto) be their ringleader? After being electro-zapped by Elle, Mister Eyebrows escaped to a back alley and skeevily injected himself with Claire's (Hayden Panettiere) blood. Then, in a wicked salute to Popeye, he telekinetically grabbed a can of spinach and said, "I'm back!"
"Sylar getting his power back does not bode well for our heroes," says Kring, who admits there is one upside to the writers' strike: Originally, Quinto was not going to be available for much of Volume 3 because of his commitment to the new Star Trek film. Now, with the strike dragging on, he'll likely be done playing young Spock by the time Heroes returns to production.
Tim Kring will appear on G4's The Post Show on Saturday, Dec. 8, at 11 pm/ET, following a repeat of last night's episode.

Volume Three To Be Titled "Villains".
Just like the Season 1 final, the last episode of Heroes Volume 2, "Generations", ended with a sneak peak of the next volume titled, "Villains". If the writers' strike ends soon, the third volume of Heroes will air during the second half of Season Two in 2008.
Heroes Season 2 Ends Today
As you probably are already aware, today is the last episode for “Heroes: Season 2”. This is of course due to the writers’ strike in the USA.
Sources confirmed that the show has filmed an alternate ending that would allow the episode to function as a season finale in the event of the strike. Originally this episode “Powerless” was only supposed to function as a conclusion to the current volume “Generations”.
Good news is, if the writers’ strike comes to a conclusion soon, they may go back into production for another shortened season, to end before May.
TV Guide’s, Matt Roush has some answers for fans saying, “Tonight’s episode is absolutely not the series finale — Heroes is going to run for years, trust me — and everyone’s hoping it won’t be the season finale, either. The situation is that this episode is the “finale” of the current virus-threat arc, or at least that’s how it’s being billed, and this is the last completed episode before the strike shut down production. When the strike is over — let’s all hope it’s soon — filming will resume for the back half of the season. There may be more of a gap between episodes than the show or the network would have preferred, but unless the strike drags on indefinitely, there will be more Heroes before the season is over. How many or when, no one can say just yet.”
So with that good news, what are we looking forward to tonight?
In season final, Peter is on his quest with Adam to find the deadly Shanti virus, which will kill 93% of the world’s population in the future. Hiro will catch up with Peter and clash as Hiro wants revenge on Adam for killing his father. After watching his heroic cousin captured by a street gang, Micah turns to the one person who can help him save Monica — his mom. Meanwhile, Maya tragically learns how much of a monster Sylar really is during his kidnapping of Molly and Suresh. Meanwhile, Elle decides to play hero to get back into her father’s good graces.
